Armor looks good. Vac-formed or fiberglass?

I got a good start on the chest armor and collar. Big thanks to my good friend Garrett (terminal fettler) for some good guidance before this with some of his magic with painting. I was happy he set down his unicorn statues and took a break from his synchronized swimming lessons long enough to help me.

First layer was krylon metallic silver. Masked silver damage with Humbrol maskol, then the US medium green. Then misted grimy black in areas. Remove masking fluid and this is where I am. I'm pleased with the results. Pictures are with and without flash.

Ok big update on the armor today. I added all the yellow zinc chromate, brown pastel markings, and the acrylic black flakes on center diamond and right chest piece. I'm all finished EXCEPT the Humbrol green 78 on the ab and upper left chest piece.

I'm cooking w fire today. I masked the silver on my back plate and got the green down. I masked the silver on the shoulders and got the next layer (cat whisker yellow) down. It's coming along man.

Do you think you'll have it done for the tincaps game?

Started working the the gauntlets last night. These are Bobamaker gaunts. These are the first fiberglass gaunts I've owned. These are wonderful gaunt and I'm hoping I did them justice. I have some more to do such as fine scratches but they are close.
