Hey everyone. There are several reports on FISD of recasters posting sales ads to Etsy. Please use extreme caution if you plan to buy a TFA set from anywhere but Anovos or the 501st forums. For new folks: 'recasting' is when someone makes a copy--usually of poor quality--from a sculpted costume. It is strongly discouraged by the 501st, and the resulting costumes often require extensive work to make them approvable. Remember, **no costume is '501st Approved' out of the box, and any seller advertising such is lying!** |
