Once you have the padding the way you want it take sticky back industrial strength Velcro and attach the loop part to the pad and the hook part to the lid, you can go either way with the Velcro just make sure you really push down on the Velcro so it sticks to the pad and helmet. I took and washed out my lid with soap and water to make sure there wasn't any release agent left inside. I also had foam that I ordered cause like I said before I have a small head and knew I was gonna need some foam.

Ok where did I leave off?? Oh the padding, once I had the padding temporarily in place I had to figure out where I wanted to put the sound boards. Once I decided on a place I took that part of the padding out and cut it so the boards would fit against the helmet shell.

Now in order to get good contact with the bucket shell I took some spare foam and cut it so it had a rounded shape on the one side to follow the contour of the helmet, the other side I left flat so i could glue it to the sound board box. I made it as thin as I could cause of the ever dwindling space inside the bucket. Sorry didn't get pics of that so you'll need to use your imagination lol.

Once I had the padding cut for both boxes and the foam glued to both boxes I attached the industrial strength Velcro to the foam on the boxes.

I took both pieces of the Velcro and stuck them together and cut them to size then I stuck them to the foam on the boxes that way when I went to set the boxes in place the Velcro attached itself to the lid right where it needed to be. I did all my Velcro this way it works well.

The next step is a lot of work, I don't have pics for all the steps but I have a few.
I took the boxes out and with the wood burning tool I melted holes in the bottoms of the sound board boxes where the wires will come out and pulled the wires through. Then I put the boxes back in the bucket and lined up where the wires will go into the hose, marked it then took the hose out of the bucket and took my wood burning tool with the biggest tip and melted holes in the hose so that the wire loom will fit in it. I took my Exacto knife and cleaned up the holes. I measured the length for the wire loom then cut it and ran the wires through it, then put the loom into the hole in the bottom of the sound board boxes and then into to holes in the hose.

Once I had both boxes complete I added wire to make the connections longer. I took my rocker switch measured on the hose where and how big to make the hole cut it out carefully then put in the switch. I made the hole a little small so it would hold the switch firmly. I took a scrap piece of foam cut and shaped it so it would fit snugly in the hose behind the switch to give it more stability. I attached all the wires then put more loom on to cover those wires. I wanted my wiring to be neat. Then I hooked up the power box ( 9v batt box ) and the switch to make sure it worked before I put it all back in the bucket.

The battery box in the above pic was just there to hold it from dangling a round. The green circle is the spare foam I added for the switch to make it more stable inside the tubing.
