I then took the boxes and with a spay paint made for plastic I painted the inside of the box and lid that way if the outside of the box was scratched it wouldn't scratch off any paint. Plus the box is very shiny so I figured clear coat!!! They came out pretty good.

Sorry I didn't get any photos with the boxes being painted but I did get a pic that shows what it looks like after the paint dried.

The amp boards had the mic and several leads sticking out so I had to bend two of the leads back so they faced the back of the board unsolder the mic which I had to do before this to glue them into the ears and the battery wires had to be unsoldered also to put the 40mm DuPont wires in there place to add length. I also had to solder in + and - leads for the mic also for length.

Once I was done with the wiring, the amp boards have a on/off switch and a volume control knob that stick out, so using my wood burning tool I melted a hole for the volume control knob and a oval shaped hole for the on / off switch. It was easy and looked pretty good.

Thanks Caleb, I value your opinion bro!! Let me know when you want to get together I have extra wire loom, heat shrink. When you are ready I'll give you a parts list along with the tools you'll need. Then we can make some art!! lol. The only thing is the size of your melon. Do you have a big dome? I have a small head and mine is snug but just right for me. If you have a big head we'll have to do some tweeking. Your dome won't fit in there other wise. Topher tried to put my bucket on and couldn't get it past his forehead lol.

The next thing I did after both left and right boxes where made and Both amp boards where finished was I made the ribbed part that goes in the rear bottom part of the bucket. I bought a vacuum cleaner hose and cut it in half with a utility knife. For me that was the best way to cut it. I followed the seam for a straight line and cut very very slowly. The ribbed parts were hard to cut through so I was very careful and cut slow. Cut slow cut once. Lol or is it measure twice cut once???...... Lol

I then took a ruff measurement cause I didn't know exactly how this should fit inside the bucket, I made a few small changes in length to get the right fit then placed it inside to see how it fit.

It's best to cut it long that way you have wiggle room to make adjustments. If you cut it too short well you'll have to cut more. With this hose kit you'll have plenty if you make a mistake.

Once I finished the hose and it fit good I started fitting in the padding kit. I took the pieces and just layed them inside the lid to see how I wanted them to fit together and look.

You want to just lay the pads in at first that way you can see how they look and fit together.
