Hello! I'm Teresa. I'm starting a Visas Marr build so I can join in on all the fun Joel talks about. I've just ordered my dress pattern (I hope it comes today) and I'm stalking a pair of approved boots on Ebay at a great price. I will be coming to the Tin Caps game on the 23rd and I can't wait to meet some of you. I hope to be able to help out a few times before I finish my costume. At this time, I don't really have much concerns costume wise. I've found one really good step by step example on a Visas Marr build and the CRL is up to date with both versions of the costume. It's been a while since I've sewn anything, but that doesn't concern me near as much as the pattern for the over dress does. Hey hey! Good to see ya on the boards, Teresa! Teresa just scored some awesome Equestrian English riding boots on eBay for like $40 shipped. I'm quite envious! Wish the dude boots would sell that cheap. Will be nice to see her build as it comes along. Keep us posted! |

If it's any consolation, I just hope I can fit my fat calves in them  . I've never owned a pair of boots that went up quite this high.

I had a great time last week at Apple Seed and afterwards at Champions (even if I was in desprete need of sleep the whole time) and the kid is pretty excited about tomorrow. I've been posting what little I've accomplished to a tumblr site I *think* it's http://www.tumblr.com/visasmarrbuild (I could be wrong, I can't pull it up at the moment). I will make sure I post them here too, it's just easier to initially upload photos there from my phone. |
