I actually dropped by today, after a gentleman messaged us on our public Facebook page about an appearance request at a bowling event in Dyer in August. I pointed him to your direction, but wanted to see if I could verify it for him anyway, which I did see that you have an event posted for it.
Then, I figured it would be a good idea to register here anyway, since who knows when we might see each other on a troop sometime.A little about me...I'm a full-time firefighter for 25 years. I grew up in the south suburbs (Hazel Crest), but left the area for Plainfield back in 2003. My wife and I joined the Legion last year, both as TIE Pilots. I approved at the same time as Bridge Crew. I'm about 90% complete with my Imperial Knight, for my next. I need to get a pair of officer boots, to complete my Imperial Officer. I have an Anovos TX kit with most of the rough trimming done, and I ordered a TK from them with the last May the 4th sale. I also have an Imperial Gunner helmet which I need to refurb, and I can put that in service. But...the TIE is fun, so it's easy to get distracted, and lose my drive to complete the others.
I use this same ID at pretty much every social outlet (Facebook , Instagram, other forums)...
