Post subject:  Hi there!
Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Emily, and I live in South Bend and have been thinking about joining the 501st for quite a few years. Now that there's a Northern Indiana garrison, I have to do it! I've been cosplaying for about five years now, but so far have only done 2 SW costumes, Slave Leia and Darth Talon. I will be working on a Mara Jade (black bodysuit) and probably an Imperial Officer costumes for approval. I'd really like to get approved before RiverCon in April! Excited to be here! :D

We'll be seeing you at River-Con for sure, but don't let that keep you from coming out to any of our events before River-Con and meeting us! You'd be more than welcome to join us!

Welcome to the boards! You know that Darth Talon is an accepted character for the 501st right? If it meet the specs you could submit that and join now and still submit your Mara later.http://www.501st.com/databank/Costuming:SL_talon

Thanks guys!

I know my Darth Talon isn't up to Legion standards, it has a lot of work to do, plus I made it with a bodysuit instead of painting, for convenience sake. I'm sure I will work on upgrading it soon though!
