501st access is for folks with approved costumes, but you're welcome to browse through the public forums here and chat about your interests. I moved your post to the general Introductions forum for simplicity sake.

Any initial thoughts on what costumes catch your eye? Budget and timeline?

You might want to come to an armor party or meet-and-greet. Keep an eye here for the next one. Again, welcome!

ok thanks for clearing it up, I went to a meet & greet last night and right now working on getting an Imperial Officers Uniform done. That fits into our budget right now.

Had a really good time at the meet & greet. I am getting ready to order my Imperial Staff Uniform and getting over whelmed with links of what to buy where and from who. But I will sort it all out.

Excellent! It's a good idea to run things by us (or the Imperial Officer's Forum at http://www.imperialofficer.com/forum/) before buying anything. There are some great suppliers and some not-so-great, and it can be hard to tell the difference.
